8-15+ PQE – VP Legal – US Qualified Corporate Lawyer – UK or Madrid, Spain

My client a well loved US listed global brand is now looking to hire an 8-15+PQE US qualified lawyer as their VP Legal-Corporate, Securities and Governance to be based in the UK or Madrid, Spain.

Leading a small team and reporting into the CEO with a dotted line into Legal, this is an exciting time to join the global legal team of a company going through an exciting time in its growth

Working in a fast paced environment your responsibilities will include

• Advising this US listed business on corporate and securities matters including public company regulations, joint ventures, M&A , capital markets, corporate finance and fundraising

• Providing corporate governance and corporate secretariat support to the Board

• Project managing outside counsel

• Supporting the business on wider legal matters

The ideal candidate will be a US qualified Corporate Lawyer with 8-15+ years PQE who has experience of advising US listed businesses on corporate and securities law. If you have UK plc experience too that would be desirable but not essential. You will speak and write fluent English and currently be working in a leading international law firm or in-house legal team.

You can be based in the UK or Madrid for this role.
