How a change of mindset can overcome difficulties at work
Wow...this is a tough market, reminds me of when I first started out in legal recruitment. No longer just a war for talent but also now a war for jobs....it will pick up though, we know that and in the meantime resilience, adaptability and self-care will be key.
As I've been speaking to a lot of lawyers at all levels who are finding things difficult at the moment (those in work, those who have been let go and those who have quit) I thought it might be useful to recommend a podcast with 👉 "Elizabeth Day & Emma Reed Turrell: Work Break-Ups How can you cope with unexpected endings? What can you do if your work's not working"? 👈
So....
▶ If you have been made redundant
▶ If you are considering quitting your job because the relationship you have with work no longer serves you;
▶ If you are experiencing changes to your current role, team or organisation
then do check this podcast out. Elizabeth and Emma discuss how change of mind-set can be so helpful in overcoming these situations and that by doing so you can find yourself in a better place. And that whilst it might not be practical to break up with work especially in the current economic climate, being able to make changes to your work relationship, to the things that are in your control, can at least help in the short term.
