Hybrid working…what it looks like in April 2024

The results are in for the Linkedin poll I ran on hybrid working and what it looks like at the moment....

Whilst this is very much rough and ready poll and most participants of the poll work in Commerce & Industry and not Financial Services...the results indicate that those employees who have been asked to come into the office more over the last 12 months, are required to be in 60% of the time (3 days a week).

Only 9% of voters said they had been asked to come into the office 4 days a week in the last 12 months and a mere 1% of voters have been asked to come into the office 5 days a week.

The poll revealed there was still more flexibility than I had thought there was in the market based on conversations I was having, especially when 49% of voters said they can work from home as much as they like...

It will be interesting to see how the WFH landscape continues to evolve over the next 12 months particularly in an economic downturn.....

Lawyers that I’m speaking to are interested in getting an updated picture of how companies’ working from home policies have changed over the last 12 months…
